What happens if the property market falls into recession?

Property markets are from time to time vulnerable to recession and no property should be considered immune to a drop in value. A responsible Manager will understand this and take all reasonable precautions to avoid having to dispose of the asset when market conditions are weak. Reasonable precautions to protect investor capital may include any number of measures but a sensible approach to the level of borrowings and the amount of cash that can easily be drawn upon will avoid the most dangerous pitfalls.
